How to Install iOS 18 Beta Profile (iPadOS 18)
Apple has a drop beta profiles option. Now you can install any beta without beta profile files.
iOS 18 Public Beta Install Guide:
- Backup your iPhone.
- Sign in to your Apple Developer Account.
- Download and install the beta profile.

- Sign in to your Apple Developer Account.
- Download and install the beta profile.
Backup your iPhone or iPad
Note: We recommend backing up all your files before installing any beta version. It is not required, but it is safe for you.
Select your iPhone or iPad backup method.
- Backup using iCloud
- Backup using Mac computer.
- Backup using Windows computer.
Back up iPhone using iCloud
- Go to the Settings app and click Your_name (iCloud setuped name).
- Find and click iCloud > iCloud Backup.
- Turn on iCloud Backup. After that, iCloud automatically backups your iCloud connection to WiFi or Power.
- Also, you can manually backup your iCloud, by clicking Backup Now.
View iCloud Backups
Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Backups.
Back up iPhone using your Mac
- Connect iPhone to your Mac device using a USB cable.
- In the Finder sidebar on your Mac, select your iPhone.
- If you have macOS 10.15 or later, you can use the Finder to back up your iPhone.
- But if you have earlier versions of macOS, you can use iTunes to back up your iPhone.
- Open Finder window, click “General.”.
- Select “Back up all of the data on your iPhone to this Mac.”
- Select “Encrypt Local Backup.”
- Click “Back Up Now.”
Back up iPhone using your Windows PC
- Connect your iPhone to your Windows PC using a USB cable.
- Open the iTunes app on your Windows PC.
- Click the iPhone button near the top left of the iTunes window.
- Click “Summary” and “Back Up Now.”
- Select “Encrypt Local Backup.”
Note: To see stored backups on your PC, select Edit > Preferences, then click Devices. Encrypted backups have a lock icon in the list of backups.
Sign in to your Apple Developer Account
If you have already joined the Apple Developer Program using Apple ID, this step is not required.
- Go to Apple Developer Program,
- Log in with your Apple ID.
- Agree to the terms and conditions and move on to the next step.
Download and install the beta profile.
- Go to the Settings app.
- Click General > Software Update > Beta Updates, select the beta you want to install, and click Back.
- Click to go directly (iOS 17 or later): Copy and paste this URL on your iPhone safari. os-beta-updates://
- Install Now!
Download and Install macOS 15 Beta (Sequoia)
- Backup Your Mac:
- Before anything, make sure to back up your Mac using Time Machine or your preferred backup method. This ensures you don’t lose any important data if something goes wrong. Guide for getting backup easily.
- Join the Apple Developer Program:
- Open Safari and go to the Apple Developer Program.
- Click “Sign up” or “Sign in” and use your Apple ID to log in.
- Turn on beta updates:
- Go to Settings app, General > Software Update > click “Beta updates”
- Select macOS from the list of beta software options (public or developer beta)
- Choose the macOS Sequoia Beta option (Sequoia Developer Beta or Sequoia Public Beta) and click Done.
- Download and Install Beta:
- Wait a few seconds, click on the “Upgrade Now” button to start downloading and installing it.
- Once the installation is complete, your Mac will boot into macOS 15 beta.
- Explore and Feedback:
- Take some time to explore the new features and use the Feedback Assistant app to report any bugs or issues you encounter.
Note:
- Stay Connected: Keep your Mac connected to power and the internet during the installation process.
- Expect Bugs: Remember, this is beta software. There may be bugs or glitches, so it’s best not to install it on your primary work machine.
Download and Install iOS 17.6 beta
Two methods have to be used to install iOS 17.6 beta.
- Download iOS 17.6 beta without beta profile.
- Download iOS 17.6 with beta profile.
- Download iOS 17.6 beta with iPSW.
- Download and install iOS 17.6 beta without beta profile
Note: You can back up your files before installing any beta profiles. It is not required, but it is safe for your data.

Install iOS 17.6 beta
If you have already joined the Apple Developer Program using Apple ID, this step is required.
- Go to Developer.apple.com/account,
- Log in with your Apple ID.
- Agree to the terms and conditions and move on to the next step.
Enable beta profile in Settings app
- Go to the Settings app.
- Click General > Software Update > Beta Updates, select the beta you want to install, and click Back.
- Click to go directly: Open Beta on iPhone (os-beta-updates://)
- Install Now!
02. Download iOS 17.6 with beta profile
You can install iOS 17.6 beta using iOS 17 beta profile.
Uninstall Old Profile:
- Open Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.
- Tap the old profile and select Remove Profile.
Download New Profile:
- Download and Allow beta profile using above button
Install Profile:
- Go to Settings > Profile Downloaded.
- Tap the profile, then install.
- Enter your passcode and confirm.
Restart Your Phone:
- Tap Restart after the profile installs.
Check for updates:
- Wait 1-2 minutes.
- Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
- Download and install iOS 17.6 Beta.
Important:
If you receive an “Invalid Signature” message when installing the iOS 17 beta profile, go to Settings > General > Date & Time and turn off Set Automatically. Then, manually set the date to any day before December 14, 2023.
03. Download iOS 17.6 beta with iPSW
A Mac or Windows computer is required for this method.
Using the above button, download your device related iPSW file on your computer.
Important: Please download the iPSW file by choosing the correct device and device model.
Install iOS beta iPSW file using Mac
- Connect iPhone to your Mac device using a USB cable.
- Open Finder or iTunes on your Mac.
- Select your device in Finder sidebar (or select your device icon on iTunes).
- Click “Summary” and click the “Check for Update” button.
- Select the IPSW beta file you downloaded and click start the installation.
- After installing the beta, your device will reboot and will require a network connection to complete activation.
Install iOS beta iPSW file using Windows PC
- Connect the iPhone to your Windows computer using a USB cable.
- Open iTunes on your Computer.
- Click the iPhone button near the top left of the iTunes window (select your device).
- Go to “Summary” and click the “Check for Update” button
- Select the IPSW beta file you downloaded from the computer.
- Click “Open” to start the installation.
- After installing the beta, your device will reboot and require a network connection to complete activation.
